Overview
FocusTube is a free, open-source browser extension that reduces doomscrolling without blocking useful websites. It blocks or hides distracting surfaces such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Explore, TikTok feeds, Facebook Reels and Stories, and the LinkedIn feed. It includes Strict, Warn, and Passive modes, a built-in focus timer, local settings, and no analytics or tracking. Available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
