Overview
Google Chat Enhancer is a free Chrome extension that brings Slack-style conveniences to Google Chat and Chat in Gmail. It lets Enter insert a new line and uses Ctrl/Cmd+Enter to send, automatically saves drafts including thread replies, keeps a sent-message history, adds back/forward navigation for the Chat PWA, and can reopen conversation links in the running app. Features can be enabled individually. There is no analytics or tracking, and saved data stays in Chrome storage rather than being sent to a developer server.
