We build BlueTicks for Gmail, a browser extension that adds read receipts to Gmail as WhatsApp-style ticks in your Sent list: one tick when a message is sent, two blue ticks when it has been opened. One click to install, no OAuth prompt, no access to your Google account, and nothing visible on the recipient side. BlueTicks for Gmail
BlueTicks adds WhatsApp-style ticks to your Gmail Sent list: one tick when the email goes out, two blue ticks the moment it is opened, in real time. Hover a tick to see when and how many times an email was opened, and a side panel lists the conversations still waiting on a read. Privacy and permissions: no OAuth and no access to your Google account, no email content stored on our servers, subject lines and recipients stay in your browser, no IP addresses kept, and recipients see nothing added to their email. Read detection uses the classic tracking pixel, so image proxies and Apple Mail privacy can affect it, which we state openly. Free plan available; the paid plan is 4 dollars a year for gmail accounts. Chrome and Firefox.
