SDCE helps users reduce time spent on distracting short-form content from social media. It blocks short-form content on sites such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. It was built for people who want to reduce doomscrolling, build healthier browsing habits, improve focus, and stay mindful of how much time they spend on distracting websites. This extension collects absolutely zero data on the user; it works locally and does not require an account. It is completely free and has no ads. The permissions required are to simply detect when the blocked websites are visited to run the blocker and to track time on the browser. All of that data is kept locally on the user's device.
